Math (all classes)
Today you will pick up where you left off yesterday practicing adding/subtracting mixed numbers. When you click on links, sites will open in a new tab. When you finish with a task, just close that tab to return to this page.
Do these tasks in order:
1. If you did not finish tasks 1-3 from yesterday, go to yesterday's math assignment page and complete anything you did not finish. You should have taken the two fractions quizzes online before you go to the next task for today.
2. You next task today is to pick up on task 4 from yesterday - learning about subtracting mixed numbers. Most of you have not watched these videos yet. Watch the next TWO videos that introduce this concept by using pattern blocks. Do NOT skip any parts.
3. Now, watch the next TWO videos that show how to regroup with subtracting mixed numbers.
4. The next video has several examples that require regrouping. Watch this video but pause after each question to practice on your own. You will have a quiz tomorrow on adding/subtracting mixed numbers.
5. Finish last week's assignment on converting units of length. Many of you had trouble accessing the videos last week. Use a laptop and they should appear.
6. If you still have time, and you have completed ALL the above tasks, work in MobyMax Math.
