You use all of the 7 minute hour glass, then you use only 2 minutes or half of the 4 minute hour glass.

What if you want an EXACT time? You can't measure half of the 4-minute glass with exact precision. There is way to solve this exactly.

No, we can’t get exact numbers, because if we counted to 60 nine times, it won’t be exact. How I know this is 60, the word, takes longer to say than 1 or 2

What I meant was try to find a way to use just those two hourglasses to measure exactly 9 minutes of time. You will have to flip over the hourglasses more than once.
